10.00 Arrival in Velika Nedelja, where you will be met by a tourist guide. Above the Drava plain, the castle of Velika Nedelja dominates the landscape, attracting visitors from afar with its four towers. A guided tour of the ethnological collection in the castle and the Church of the Holy Trinity follows.
12.00 Continue along the Drava plain to Središče ob Dravi, followed by a tour of the oil mill. You will be tempted by the enticing smell of fresh oil, see how it is produced and taste culinary delicacies made from pumpkin oil and seeds.
13.30 Followed by a drive along the wine road. Among the vineyard hills, the path leads you to the Church of the Sorrowful Mother of God in Jeruzalem, which hides more than we could ever have imagined. Visit.
14.30 Round off your exploration of our region with a hearty Prlekija lunch (2 soups, 2 types of meat, 2 side dishes, salad, dessert).
16.00 Finally, stop in the middle of the beautiful mountains, which treat your guests to magnificent views. At one of the many wine cellars in our destination, you can taste excellent, fresh wines.
As the setting sun sinks between the vineyard hills on your way home, you will realise that Jerusalem is not so farfetched after all, and that you have indeed visited a place with a holy name.
