Prleška gibanica

Prleška gibanica is a dessert and one of the best Slovenian cakes made from filo dough, which has seven layers of cottage cheese filling, topped with sour cream. It is best baked in a clay pot in a bread oven. Each housewife prepares gibanica according to her own recipe, so it varies from house to house. Housewives used to bake it at harvest time.
